Rendlbahn

Concept

Initiative
once outside the village, now close to the village center and directly connected to it, not only cable car station, but also distribution point
Architecture
modestly tied to the purpose
Technology
for optimal distribution function with minimal maintenance

Solution

From the village center straight up in the mountains

The second cable care station in St. Anton marks an infrastructural highlight, in conjunction with the first station Galzigbahn. Rendlbahn and Galzigbahn are integrated into the village center and both ski areas are directly reachable in short distance. Thus reduce the traffic amount and creates an identity for the village.

The lower level of the station building hosts the bus and taxi traffic, the upper level is exclusively accessible for pedestrians. A pedestrian bridge connects the slope directly with the valley station.
