Solar Shift

The steep northern slope of the property is the starting point for the spatial layering of the single levels of the building. The topographical situation creates the three storied space. The outside of the house presents itself extremely different on all sides – the living room gets extended to the outside via glass fronts.

The staggering of the stories is visible from the garden front, closed and planned in a way that enables the light to reach all rooms. The inner space are generous and light flooded. A stairway in the centre, integrated as decent furniture, connects all levels and creates fluid transitions / crossings / passages.
