Familiy sports land

If you get out of Vienna in St. Corona am Wechsel, you first notice the incredible surrounding. An image, that appears in our minds when we dream of ”green“, becomes reality here. That's what happened to us when we came here for the first time.

Our task here was to create a place that serve as a central meeting point, viewing platform, overview and orientation of the children's sports area. Service facilities that allow both summer and winter operation should be created here.

In advance it was important to us that the building and the motor skills park could be reached without crossing the main road. So a bridge, starting at the visitor parking lot, was led across the street to the building, which is comfortably usable with a gentle, flat ramp for everyone and at the same time offers a view into the countryside.

On the other side, the bridge leads into the upper floor of the building, from here all facilities can be reached without barriers, as well as the large panoramic terrace facing the sunny side and the motor skills park.

The building itself consists of two floors, the ground floor can be reached via stairs or a lift, both facilities are outdoors and weather protected. The ski rental is located on the ground floor and is also suitable as a conference room in the summer months. The garage for the slope preparation of the children's ski area is also located here.

The restaurant is located on the upper floor with an unobstructed view to the south-east, the motor skills park and the mini bike park.

The toiletts for young and old visitors are freely accessible via the terrace and can be reached independently of a restaurant visit.
