The existing residential complex in Austraße will be expanded and densified by the two newly constructed residential buildings. With their location and size, the two new buildings fit into the existing building structure, positively reinforce the spatial structure and the large green areas can continue to exist.

A total of 23 new residential units were created. The building structure A is free-standing on all sides, is located in the middle of the complex and has ground-level access via Hechenbergstrasse. It houses 11 apartments on four floors.

The building structue B with 12 apartments, spread over 4 fllors, is built directly onto the existing building on one side and is accessible at ground level via Austraße.

There are a total of 15 three-room apartments and 8 two-room apartments. All apartments have west-facing terraces on the ground floor and balconies on the upper floors.

Internally, the apartments are accessed via a staircase illuminated with daylight and a lift. The basement rooms, common rooms and the shared underground car park are directly accessible via the staircases and lifts.

The underground car park is illuminated with daylight via a light fountain. The entrance is in Austraße and there is an additional barrier-free entrance through Hechenbergstraße.
