“Strandsatelliten” or “Satellite beach” is located on the banks of river Inn, quite near to the city centre of Innsbruck. It is a subsidized residential building complex consisting of 3 separate buildings with 6 storeys each. All together there are 120 apartments with a size of 60-100 m²; all of them have either a coloured glassed balcony/terrace or a private garden.

The construction is a reinforced concrete skeleton construction with prefabricated units. The facade is glazed in many parts, so the houses and apartments are light and friendly inside. On all three buildings are roof terraces that offer a breathtaking view on the surrounding mountains.
