- completion of an existing villa towards the garden
- a glass structure that is connected to the existing villa creates spacious living space that extends into the green
- prefabricated three-storey extension as a steel-wood-glass construction, low-energy house
How can old and new substance complement each other to create highest quality of living?
The house was designed by a Loos-student, so the old structure should be preserved and missing parts, like communication with the outside, should be completed with new, modern structures. For this it was necessary to open the building towards the garden with a glassed cube. Inside a spiralled stairway connects the floors.
